Love is divine essence, not earthly magic… like a whisper of stars that awakens the soul, like the touch of two gazes that recognize each other in eternity.
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:7-8, NIV)
It is the light that transforms the everyday into purpose, the spark that ignites moons within the heart. It is the patience that endures all things, the kindness that is never envious.
It manifests itself as a gentle yet firm incantation: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” (1 John 4:7-8, NIV) It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
👶 The Seal of Love in Parenting.
When two hearts, united in this covenant, become a home, the universe bends down to provide, and love becomes the foundation of their heritage.
In parenting, this love translates into gentle teaching, the security of an unconditional embrace, forging a character that knows the Truth.
It is the basis for raising our children, with the certainty that:
“And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” (1 John 4:16, NIV)
For only genuine and unchanging love gives them roots for life.
♾️ Permanence.
Because love cannot be explained, it is felt like a sweet tremor in the soul, like a poem that is written only each time it is lived in sacrifice and grace. And when all else ceases—word, knowledge, and prophecy—love, this eternal gift, “never fails.” (1 Corinthians 13:8, KJV)
