Deja que se queden con lo que te quitaron.

Si les diste amor y se alejaron,
deja que se queden con ese eco en el alma,
ese calor que ahora los habita.
No pelees por ello,
si se lo diste es porque podías.
Tú tienes la capacidad de crear más.

Si les diste tiempo y se fueron,
deja que los recuerdos les sirvan de refugio,
una huella de tus días en su camino.
Si les diste meses, años de tu vida,
deja que se queden con todo el amor que les entregaste.

¿Para qué lo quieres de vuelta?
Tú no debes nada.
No reclames, no exijas, no pelees.
Que se queden con lo que les hace falta,
tal vez lo necesitaban más que tú.

El valor de tu amor
no reside en lo que ellos hicieron con él.
Déjalos, que se queden con todo lo que les diste,
aunque a cambio te dieran solo dolor.

Qué hermoso, ¿verdad?
Dejarles amor, aunque te hayan herido,
es el regalo más grande.
Tú siempre tendrás más para dar.

If you gave them love and they walked away,
let them keep that echo in their soul,
that warmth that now lives within them.
Don't fight for it;
if you gave it to them, it's because you could.
You have the ability to create more.

let the memories serve as a refuge,
a trace of your days on their path.

Why do you want it back?
You don't owe anything.
Don't demand, don't demand, don't fight.
Let them keep what they need;
maybe they needed it more than you did.
