On the material (reflection) 💎💍🚤👑

Material means nothing

«The TRUTH is, that all of the “STUFF” here on earth we work SO hard to buy and accumulate..does NOT mean a thing. At the end of the day…people will be cleaning out our «STUFF», going thru our «STUFF», figuring out what to do with all of our «STUFF»….this «STUFF» we’ve accumulated in our life. The only thing of VALUE that remains are the MEMORIES and what we deposit into others. May we all learn to spend less time accumulating «STUFF» and spend way more time making MEMORIES.»

Lo material no significa nada.

«La VERDAD es que todas las “COSAS” aquí en la tierra por las que trabajamos TAN duro para comprar y acumular… NO significan nada.

  10. Well, I don’t know Spanish, but I will try to appreciate this article in Spanish because I love to learn every new language. This article, «Material Means Nothing,» is my favorite because I am a student earning to see the world and gather experience. You are right; the materials we collect, like fancy cars and jewelry, are of little use. Instead of collecting all these luxury, worthless things, we should collect memories. We should live life as if any day could be our last, in the lap of Mother Earth.
Muchas gracias de corazón por este artículo.

      1. I have never found such interesting blog articles before. I am going to spend more time reading them. Please don’t stop writing these types of articles; it’s a request.

    2. You have truly said even if you are a student with a little of life’s experiences and there’s lot to come. All that remains for our mental and so almost total wellbeing, and worthwhile in life, are the memories that we make either good or bad. I also appreciate the artilcle by «pkmundo» from the bottom of my heart.

  11. In a world where material possessions often define our status and success, questioning their true significance can indeed be radical. Here’s a nuanced view:

    Objective Truth and Material Well-Being:
Objective truths often intersect with our material well-being. Economic stability, health, and comfort rely on tangible goods—food, shelter, medicine.
Yet, beyond survival, we venture into a realm where “stuff” takes on different meanings.

The Extremist Lens: Labeling those who campaign against material consumption as extremists or even terrorists is a bold stance. It highlights the delicate balance between individual choices and societal impact.

Our consumption patterns fuel economies, but they also strain resources and contribute to environmental challenges.

The Brainwashing Paradox: Imagine you managed to install a shift in collective shift in consciousness: “Stuff doesn’t mean anything.” If everyone embraced this, factories might idle, markets shrink, and workers face uncertainty.
Yet, perhaps this awakening could lead to more intentional consumption, sustainable practices, and a redefinition of prosperity.

Motivation and Greed: Hospitals, too, stand on this precipice. Doctors, nurses, and staff work tirelessly. Their motivation—beyond greed—is compassion, healing, and service.

Could we recalibrate our drive, finding purpose beyond accumulation?

Conclusion: In this dance between “stuff” and meaning, let’s ponder. Perhaps the truth lies not in extremes but in mindful choices. As factories hum and hospitals pulse, may we seek balance—a world where “stuff” gains depth, and our hearts find fulfillment.

    2. The believe the purpose of the article was to help in mental wellbeing and being happy and not running crazy after stuffs and works which are just fancy ways of adding fatigue to life and which suck away time from more important, meaningful, valuable, and memorable things which can’t be bought.

  16. Wow. Good advice and what an interesting perspective on creating memories rather than making stuff for other people💯

I love this blog post and it is so true. When I look back at the past activities, my friends at the «Glam Life Society» and how my life is changing, I can say the memories play a big part than the money or the stuff you get or give🙏😀

However, I would choose having money because it creates memories better, better than being broke of course haha😂

  18. This is the most meaningful article I have read in some time. I understand Spanish very less even though I have tried to learn it earlier personally through online course, audio and software. I was able to read the English translation that you have included in the post. Thank you so much PKMUNDO.
You are absolutely right, all this stuff and money and work that we are so crazy after in life means nothing. They don’t add to our mental happiness and well-being. Soon, we are left with a bad taste in our mouth, missing our near and dear ones with whom we kept distance at the excuse of our ambitions and work schedules. We soon start to miss them especially when they are no longer around (dead). I miss my grandfather very much. He was the most helpful and good friend to me and my supporter and caretaker. He loved me and I loved him. We had planned that I would start a great ambitious work after leaving my previous work; that I would make him happy and proud and then I’ll marry in his presence and give him joy. But time did not wait it took away my grandfather away from me few years back and now I’m left alone still feeling lonely, a looser and with no success of my ambition, and I have not yet married. I wish I had hurried a bit, being careful about his age when he was around and made him more happy when he was here and not ran after the hopeless meaning materialistic ambitions, and gave more priority to relationship with him. I pray everyday asking god to bring my grandfather back to me so that we can complete our unfinished plans.

Thank you PK mundo for your helpful article. I would like to know your name and interact more with you.

  24. We have moved between many countries to work over 30 years away from our home country and in the process have accumulated things which remind us of pleasant experiences but more important than these things are the people we worked with who these memories the things represent. When the things become the object of our focus rather than the memories, they we are in a sad place as things eventually wear out or will be discarded. But friendships last forever.
