When parents grow old, let them grow old with the same love that they let you grow up... LET THEM TALK AND TELL THEIR STORIES REPEATEDLY with the same patience and interest that they listened to yours when you were a child...
Let them win, like so many times they let you win... let them enjoy their friends, conversations with their grandchildren... let them enjoy living among the objects that have accompanied them for a long time, because they suffer feeling that you are tearing away pieces of their life...
Let them make mistakes, as you have made mistakes so many times... LET THEM LIVE AND TRY TO MAKE THEM HAPPY the last stretch of the path they have left to travel, in the same way that they gave you their hand when you started yours!!
