PRESTAR ATENCIÓN A LA PANTALLA NO ES LO MISMO QUE… por Carlos Skliar.

La hiper conectividad que trajo el advenimiento de la era digital aceleró los tiempos y formas de relaciones entre las personas. Por ello, uno de los desafíos educativos actuales tiene que ver con crear condiciones distintas a las que proponen las nuevas tecnologías, no es lo mismo prestar atención a la pantalla que prestar atención al mundo.

La urgencia y la prisa están naturalizadas, pero no son naturales. Prestarnos atención pareciera ser la dificultad mayúscula de la época. Si prestáramos atención hay cosas que no hubieran pasado, en lo educativo, lo político y lo económico. 

No necesariamente la educación tiene que ir para ese lugar. Está el mundo que podemos criticar, no acatar. Podemos desobedecer, pero si la educación es servil a la época, evidentemente no hay forma de interrumpir este proceso.

PAYING ATTENTION TO THE SCREEN IS NOT THE SAME AS... by Carlos Skliar.

The hyper connectivity brought by the advent of the digital age accelerated the times and forms of relationships between people. Therefore, one of the current educational challenges has to do with creating conditions different from those proposed by new technologies; paying attention to the screen is not the same as paying attention to the world.

Urgency and haste are naturalized, but they are not natural. Paying attention to ourselves seems to be the greatest difficulty of the time. If we paid attention there are things that would not have happened, educationally, politically and economically. 

Education does not necessarily have to go there. There is the world that we can criticize, not abide by. We can disobey, but if education is subservient to the times, there is obviously no way to interrupt this process.
