Let the anger dry.

Mariana was very happy to have won a blue tea set as a gift.

The next day, Julia, her little friend, came very early to invite her to play. Mariana couldn't because she was going out with her mother that morning.
Julia then asked Mariana to lend her her tea set so that she could play alone in the garden of the building where they lived.
She did not want to lend her brand new gift but at her friend's insistence she decided to emphasize the care of that special toy.
Upon returning from the walk, Mariana was shocked to see her tea set thrown to the ground. Some cups were missing and the tray was broken.
Crying and very upset, Mariana vented to her mother, "Mom, do you see what Julia did with me? I lent her my toy and she neglected everything and left it lying on the floor."
Completely out of control, Mariana wanted to go to Julia's house to ask for explanations, but her mother affectionately told her:
 "Daughter, do you remember that day when you went out with your new all-white dress and a passing car splashed mud on your clothes? When you got home you wanted to immediately wash the dress but your grandmother wouldn't let you.
Do you remember what your grandmother said? She said to let the mud dry, because it would be easier to remove the stain later.
That's right, little girl, it's the same with anger, let the anger dry first, then it's much easier to resolve everything."
Mariana didn't understand everything very well, but she decided to follow her mother's advice and went to watch television.
A while later the doorbell rang... It was Julia, with a box in her hands and without further ado she said:
"Mariana, do you remember the spoiled child from the other street, the one who often bothers us?
He came to play with me and I didn't let him because I thought he wouldn't take care of your tea set but he got angry and destroyed the gift you had lent me.
When I told my mother, she worriedly took me to buy another one just like it, for you. I hope you are not mad at me. It was not my fault!"
"No problem!" Mariana said, "my anger is already dry!" And giving her friend a big hug, she took her by t
the hand and took her to her room to tell her the story of the new dress dirty with mud."

Never react while you feel anger. Anger blinds us and prevents us from seeing things as they really are. This way you will avoid committing injustices and gain the respect of others for your considered and correct position in a difficult situation.

Always remember: Let the anger dry!

DEJA SECAR LA IRA

Mariana se puso toda feliz por haber ganado de regalo un juego de té de color azul.

Al día siguiente, Julia, su amiguita, vino bien temprano a invitarla a jugar. Mariana no podía pues saldría con su madre aquella mañana.
Julia entonces pidió a Mariana que le prestara su juego de té para que ella pudiera jugar sola en el jardín del edificio en que vivían.
Ella no quería prestar su flamante regalo pero ante la insistencia de la amiga decidió, hacer hincapié en el cuidado de aquel juguete tan especial.
Al volver del paseo, Mariana se quedó pasmada al ver su juego de té tirado al suelo. Faltaban algunas tazas y la bandeja estaba rota.
Llorando y muy molesta Mariana se desahogó con su mamá «¿ves mamá lo que hizo Julia conmigo? Le presté mi juguete y ella lo descuidó todo y lo dejó tirado en el suelo».
Totalmente descontrolada Mariana quería ir a la casa de Julia a pedir explicaciones, pero su madre cariñosamente le dijo:
«Hijita, ¿te acuerdas de aquel día cuando saliste con tu vestido nuevo todo blanco y un coche que pasaba te salpicó de lodo tu ropa? Al llegar a casa querías lavar inmediatamente el vestido pero tu abuelita no te dejó.
¿Recuerdas lo que dijo tu abuela? Ella dijo que había que dejar que el barro se secara, porque después sería más fácil quitar la mancha.

Así es hijita, con la ira es lo mismo, deja la ira secarse primero, después es mucho más fácil resolver todo».
Mariana no entendía todo muy bien, pero decidió seguir el consejo de su madre y fue a ver el televisor.
Un rato después sonó el timbre de la puerta…Era Julia, con una caja en las manos y sin mas preámbulo ella dijo:
«Mariana, ¿recuerdas al niño malcriado de la otra calle, el que a menudo nos molesta?
Él vino para jugar conmigo y no lo dejé porque creí que no cuidaría tu juego de té pero el se enojó y destruyó el regalo que me habías prestado.
Cuando le conté a mi madre ella preocupada me llevó a comprar otro igualito, para ti. ¡Espero que no estés enojada conmigo. No fue mi culpa!“
«¡No hay problema!, dijo Mariana, ¡mi ira ya secó! Y dando un fuerte abrazo a su amiga, la tomó de la mano y la llevó a su cuarto para contarle la historia del vestido nuevo ensuciado de lodo».
Nunca reacciones mientras sientas ira. La ira nos ciega e impide que veamos las cosas como ellas realmente son. Así evitarás cometer injusticias y ganarás el respeto de los demás por tu posición ponderada y correcta delante de una situación difícil.
