Know your worth…Conoce tu valor…

Being true, being real, being yourself isn’t always for everyone –
life just doesn’t work that way – and trying to make others happy by giving up a piece of your soul, will only extinguish your inner light.

The pleaser burns the candle on both ends – the result is tired, oh so very tired.
The pleaser gives, and gives, and gives, until there is nothing left to give.
The pleaser won’t voice an opinion for fear of hurting someone.
The pleaser tends to be sad inside while wearing a transparent smile.

If you are not accepted for the way you are and constantly trying to please other people but to no avail, those are not your people.
Don’t be afraid to ask this of yourself
“Is this really the life I want?”
If the answer is no, it’s time to walk on.
We must remember, every time we are disenchanted, upset, angry, a little bit of life leaves the body.

Pleasing everybody is never an obligation. If they like you, that is fine.
If not, that is also fine and not your problem.

Ser auténtico, ser real, ser uno mismo no siempre es para todos. La vida simplemente no funciona así, e intentar complacer a los demás cediendo un trocito de tu alma solo apagará tu luz interior.

Quien complace se quema la vela por ambos extremos; el resultado es cansancio, muchísimo cansancio.
Quien complace da, da y da, hasta que no queda nada que dar.
Quien complace no expresa su opinión por miedo a herir a alguien.
Quien complace suele estar triste por dentro, aunque con una sonrisa transparente.

Si no te aceptan como eres y constantemente intentas complacer a los demás sin éxito, esa no es tu gente.
No tengas miedo de preguntarte esto: "¿Es esta realmente la vida que quiero?".
Si la respuesta es no, es hora de seguir adelante.
Debemos recordar que cada vez que nos sentimos desencantados, molestos o enojados, un poco de vida abandona el cuerpo.

Complacer a todos nunca es una obligación. Si les gustas, no hay problema.
Si no, también está bien, no es tu problema.
