Sometimes boys and girls ask us questions, or say they don't know, or protest about what they can't get right...
Others just look at us in silence, still, as if they were waiting for us to tell them what to do, how to do it, how to solve it, what to think.
And among the emergencies of everyday life, we tend to quickly give instructions, explanations, instructions, closed ways of doing or thinking, sometimes long before children come to question themselves, to imagine possibilities.
But it is valuable to encourage questions, to sustain those instances of "not knowing" that encourage us to search, to explore new paths, to fantasize, to discover...
Taking advantage of these everyday opportunities requires time, patience, listening... and especially, being convinced of the value of playing with ideas trying to understand reality, as well as being willing to amaze and enrich us with the contributions of their creative thinking.

A veces los niños y las niñas nos hacen preguntas, o dicen que no saben, o protestan por lo que no les sale…
Otras sólo nos miran en silencio, quietos, como si esperaran que les dijéramos qué hacer, cómo hacer, cómo resolver, qué pensar.
Y entre las urgencias del día a día, tendemos a dar rápidamente indicaciones, explicaciones, instructivos, modos cerrados de hacer o de pensar, a veces mucho antes de que los niños y las niñas lleguen a cuestionarse, a imaginar posibilidades.
Pero es valioso animar las preguntas, sostener esas instancias de «no saber» que incitan a buscar, a explorar nuevos caminos, a fantasear, a descubrir…
Aprovechar esas oportunidades cotidianas requiere tiempo, paciencia, escucha… y en especial, estar convencidos del valor de que jueguen con las ideas intentando comprender la realidad, así como dispuestos a asombrarnos y enriquecernos con los aportes de su pensamiento creativo.
