It was said, “My prayer didn’t work; it left me cold, abandoned, and broken.”. But when the prayer was dismantled, the discovery was not the prayer itself, but the placement of intention- and intention is deeply personal. It is a dark dive into what our intercession is.
So, in order for it (our asks)to become holy and honest- like any other manifestation- our thoughts behind the words must be clean.
“We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.” Anaïs Nin
Example:
The difference between praying for someone to heal so they have relief, and praying for someone to heal because you can’t fathom the loss (being without them) is subtle, human, and sincere, yet it is ‘you’ that stands in the way of fruition.
This isn’t a judgment- it is about reworking and rewiring our thoughts.
Prayer is a song in gratitude, a call to (and for) change.
And if it (your prayer) is for someone else, take yourself out of the equation.
If it is for you, pray for the wisdom you have inside to reveal the truth and a way to handle an unanswered prayer. Debbie lynn.
If you pray to ask for something, it is not prayer. When you pray to thank him for something, only then is it prayer. Prayer is always a thanksgiving. Osho.
